What it does
  1. Reads EPUB, TXT, MD, and Markdown files from your phone.
  2. Includes a built-in bookshelf with the individual Oliver Kell Markdown articles.
  3. PDF opens get a clear unsupported-format message instead of broken text.
  4. Shows text in a vertical card reader with image split view, whole-book progress, and time-left estimates.
  5. Saves bookmarks and simple long-press highlights locally; highlight style and strength are adjustable.
  6. Keeps imported books on the phone and uploads them to Cloudflare R2; highlights and bookmarks sync through Cloudflare D1.
  7. Reader settings can be reset back to the balanced defaults without touching notes or sync.
  8. Cloudflare sync includes readable token/network/URL diagnostics and weekly PC backup support.

Private sync endpoint: app sync requires the shared token already bundled into your build.
